這個文檔嵌入自Template:Cite web/doc。

描寫維基條目時經常需要參考網路上的各種資源，因此更多地使用這個模板可以將所參考的來源記錄下來，以便瀏覽者以及之後的編寫者找到這些來源資料。

本模板是用來列明維基條目中非新聞來源（參見列明來源的關於維基條目列明的一般注意事項，並參見{{Cite news}}以學習如何列名新聞來源）。
此模板用來取代過時的{{Web reference}}。它的參數僅允許小寫。

必填參數（否則會報錯）

• url: 參照項的網址。開頭必須帶有通訊協定 例如http://或https://。
• title: 參照項的標題（原文）。
  • script-title：外語文獻（特別是可能錯誤簡繁轉換的日文）建議使用該參數代替，開頭需用ja:等形式標示語言。
• accessdate: 可使用ISO 8601中規定的YYYY-MM-DD格式，例如"accessdate= 2026-02-01"。

選填參數

• trans_title：標題的中文翻譯
• author: 作者的名字
  • last 與 first 參數一起使用產生效果如姓, 名. （主要用於外國人名名字在前，姓氏在後的情況）。
  • authorlink參數與author一同使用，如果是與last參數和first參數一同使用則在兩個作者之間加上|。這個參數的作用是連結到相應的維基條目，而不是鏈到外部連結。
  • coauthors: 在此處可以添加另外的共同作者。
• date: 原文出版或發表的日期，請使用包括年、月、日的完整日期格式並與所寫條目風格保持一致。如果是與使用ISO 8601中規定的YYYY-MM-DD格式時，例如是2006-02-17，則不需要在輸入日期時加上維基連結，它會自動被系統加上（根據2014年WP:格式手冊的新規定，不再對日期添加連結，原有的「2015年10月21日」等內文連結也逐步被User:Yinweichen-bot等人移除）。
  • 或者使用另一種組合: year: 出版年份和month: 出版月份。如果你有詳細的日子，請使用date參數。這種方式也不需要加上維基連結，它會自動被系統加上（根據2014年WP:格式手冊的新規定，不再對日期添加連結）。
• format: 檔案格式，例如PDF檔案。此項為空則被預設認為是HTML格式。
• work: 如果這個參照項是包括在一個更大「作品」之中，例如是一本書、一份期刊雜誌或是一個網站，那麼請寫下這個"作品"的名字。
• publisher: 如果存在出版者--例如這個網站是由某個政府服務部門、教育機構或公司來提供運作，則可以在此輸入名字。
• pages: pp. 5–7: 參照項所在的頁數或者是所在的起始頁和終止頁，而不是在此寫明所參照書籍的總頁數。此項在參照項為PDF檔案時特別有用。
• language: 參照項使用的語言(為中文時作為預設情況可以不用提示)。
• doi: 有關文件的數位物件識別號，例如10.1038/news070508-7
  • Doilabel: 如果此DOI包括一些必須要進行URL編碼的字元，請使用"Doilabel}}"參數列明為進行URL編碼的版本。參見{{doi}}: "id"等同於"doi"而"label"等同於"doilabel"
• archiveurl: 重要的網頁可以被類似WebCite這樣的網站存檔，這時候這個參數應該是這個存檔副本的網頁網址（需要同時使用archivedate參數）。
• archivedate: 此文件存檔的日期（需要同時使用archiveurl參數），請使用ISO 8601YYYY-MM-DD格式，例如2006-02-17。不需要在輸入日期時加上維基連結，它會自動被系統加上。這個參數不支援（美國/國際）日期格式的日期格式（它們會被顯示成錯誤的紅色連結格式）（根據2014年WP:格式手冊的新規定，不再對日期添加連結）。
• quote: 被參照的相關原文。
• website: 被參照的相關網站，可以用內鏈。

因title參數忘記填寫而導致的錯誤

注意事項

某些外文標點符號（“　”　‘　’）在「繁體」模式時會錯誤轉換為引號，例如：

「Title text」. 

使用script-title參數可強制該等標點不轉換：

“Title text”. 

雖然使用<nowiki>“Title text”</nowiki>也可強制不轉換，但是會出現「存在delete character」紅字錯誤訊息（2016年情況），例如：

“Title text”. 

如在location和quote參數填入的文字有該等標點，使用-{... }-即可強制該等標點不轉換。

如果網頁標題含有以下字元，請在填寫title參數時依下表替換。

加入language=en（或ja、es之類）關閉轉換的方法於2015年12月以後失效。
